The Giro d’Italia is Coming to San Giuliano Terme!

We are thrilled to announce that the 2025 Giro d’Italia will pass through San Giuliano Terme on May 20th, during the individual time trial connecting Lucca to Pisa. This 30-kilometer stage partially retraces the iconic route of the 1977 time trial won by Knudsen.

Stage Details

• Start: Half loop around the historic walls of Lucca.
• Route: Cyclists will head toward Pisa, passing through the Foro of San Giuliano and crossing San Giuliano Terme. The course will follow the Medicean aqueduct before reaching the Arno River.
• Finish: Piazza dei Miracoli, next to the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
